Cheryl Perkins is a professional organizer in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. She is a graduate of Bryan College
of Court Reporting and was a court reporter for 15 years, having dealt with all types of legal issues, but focusing
mainly on medical malpractice and business litigation. She has worked with many different types of people in the
legal world and has experience in dealing with people of all different backgrounds.
Cheryl decided to make the switch from court reporter to professional organizer, thus starting Creating Balance, after deciding
she loved to organize and also loved the rewarding feeling of making a contribution to others in a way that could change the
outcome of a person's life. Cheryl chose to take her organizational skills from the court reporting world and turn
her passion for neatness into a profession, in an effort to help others learn to create balance in their lives regarding paperwork,
clutter, and confusion.
Cheryl is also pursuing a degree in holistic nutrition as she sees the dramatic effects of disorganization in all of the other
areas of life, including nutrition, health, fitness, well-being and more.
Creating Balance is committed to creating a space that enhances ALL of the areas of life instead of hindering or
holding them back. "It's a very rewarding feeling to know that the client's feeling of overwhelm begins to shift to
a sense of clearing or an opening that can lead to new possibilities in their life. It's important to love our home
environment and feel peaceful in it in order to go out into the world and have the rest of our life work." An example of
this would be if your kitchen is organized, you are much more inclined to reach for healthy items versus unhealthy non-organic,
processed, and refined food products in a can, frozen, or packaged.
